In this short video, we explore interesting ways that people are currently using quick-response (QR) codes to communicate their science with a variety of audiences. QR codes are giving citizen scientists access to on-line data entry sites in real-time. They are educating nature-lovers about the species they encounter on a hike. And, they are helping fellow researchers collaborate on a deeper level with code-accessible personal websites. When employed thoughtfully, QR codes can connect people with places and enhance experiences by bringing relevant information and ideas to life. How will you use QR codes, or another creative tool, to help communicate your science in a new way?
