NREL Director Appointed to US Commission for UNESCO December 2, 2004 Dr. Diana H. Wall, Director of the Natural Resource Ecology Laboratory at Colorado State University, has been appointed a representative of the at-large community for the re-established United States National Commission for the United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization (UNESCO). The National Commission will provide the U.S. Government, through the U.S. Department of State, with expert advice on U.S. interest in educations, scientific, cultural and communications issues at UNESCO and assist with the implementation UNESCO programs in the United States.
