Types of analyses:

The NREL maintains space, glassware, and other equipment for a wide range of water/gas/soil/plant/microbial/etc preparation and analyses (click here to examine methods)

Equipment:

The lab has a range of traditional prep equipment such as sieves, balances, shakers, centrifuges, grinders, ovens, furnaces, and incubators (click here for details).

Use:

Lab space is heavily used by NREL Principal Investigators, but the facilties are available for use by scientists outside or NREL at well. Currently NREL PIs pay $2.75/hour to use the lab. Click here to inquire about using the lab.
